The Kraftucky Arts & Crafts Expo will return to the Owensboro Convention Center this year from Nov. 13-15.
For the seventh consecutive year, Kraftucky will feature local and regional artisans and crafters offering unique handmade creations in woodcrafts, furniture, holiday decorations, quilts, jewelry, floral arrangements, painting, candles, pottery, embroidery, and more.
Hours will be Nov. 13 from 2-7 p.m., Nov. 14 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and Nov. 15 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission for adults is $3 per day or $5 for a weekend pass. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Tickets will be available at the door.
Early Bird Crafting will host Paint Parties throughout the weekend. Painting times are Nov. 13 at 5 p.m., Nov. 14 at 2 p.m., and Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. The cost is $20 per cutout and includes admission to the show. Attendees are encouraged to make reservations online at facebook.com/EarlyBirdCrafting.
“For most craft businesses, attending events such as these allows them to generate sales and grow their customers,” stated Laura Alexander, General Manager of Spectra, the provider of Venue Management to the Convention Center. “We are excited to provide that opportunity and to present this event again this year.”
New this year, craft Boba teas will be offered with $5 Bubble Milk Tea (brown sugar flavored) and $5 Bubble Peach Tea. Guests 21 and over can try a $10 “spiked “version, made with Crown Royal Salted Caramel and Crown Royal Peach.
Capacity inside the exhibit hall will be monitored and if need be, limited at times to adhere to the 50% event space capacity regulations currently in place. Aisles will be set 10 feet wide with one-way traffic arrows placed on the floor noting the proper direction. Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the venue. Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized at least once an hour. At this time, attendees will be required to wear a mask or facial covering.
