Wendell Foster Half Marathon

Registration opens at 12 a.m. Monday for the third annual Wendell Foster Half Marathon. The race is set for Nov. 13 and offers a flat and fast route of Owensboro.

To register, click here. The first 100 people that register receive a discounted rate of $50 per entry. Prices will go up throughout the year, maxing out at $90 on the Expo Registration day of Nov. 12.

The 13.1-mile race will be fully supported including some full and partial road closures. It will start and finish on the riverfront by Smothers Park. There will be a 4-hour course time limit to complete the race.

There will be water stations placed along the course and the race will be professionally timed. Finisher medals will be given to those that complete the course, and prize money will be awarded to the top competitors in each division.

Runners must be 13 years of age on race day to register. (Age restriction does not apply to those that are pushed in the “Running Stroller Division.”)

For sponsorship inquiries or questions regarding the race, contact Race Director John Gleason at [email protected].
