For the first time ever, Virtual Experience tickets are being sold for Owensboro’s Lip Sync Battle, which is set for May 1 at the Owensboro Convention Center. Virtual ticket holders will be able to watch the event live.
Virtual tickets can be purchased here for $19.95 until the day of the event, with all sales going to Puzzle Pieces as a fundraiser. Last year, the event raised more than $120,000.
Those who purchase a virtual ticket will be sent an email with a link to the live performance at 12 a.m. May 1. The link will not be shareable. Anyone who doesn’t receive the link by 12 p.m. on May 1 should email [email protected].
The link to the performance will go live at 7:45 p.m., with performances starting at 8 p.m.
In-person tickets sold out in a matter of seconds this year.
The 2021 event is presented by Kentucky Legend. WBKR will be the official media sponsor, with Chad Benefield and Angel Welsh hosting for the fifth consecutive year. They will be kicking the night off with their own lip-sync routine.
