A “Wild, Wild West” installment of Murder Mystery Dinner is coming to the Owensboro Convention Center on May 14. The event — call “A Fistful of Hollers” — will follow safety guidelines including mask and distancing requirements.

When someone ends up dead after local mortician Digger Deep invites Dry Gulp’s local bad guy Nasty Nate to a party, it’s up to the attendees to work with detective Squint Leastwood and the rest of the posse to find out “whodunit.”

The dinner will feature a western-themed menu that includes brisket chili, southwestern spiced ham, cornbread muffins, apple pie, and more. For those guests 21 and over, the Silver Dollar Saloon (cash bar) will feature specialty drinks.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for cocktail hour and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m., followed by the murder mystery.

Due to COVID-19 policies, no more than six people will be allowed to sit at a 66” banquet table and all parties will be spaced apart to allow for proper social distancing. All drinks and food will be served individually.

Performers and audience participants must wear masks and maintain a 6-foot distance. At this time, guests are also required to wear masks except when sitting down while eating or drinking at their table.
