A car, truck and bike show will be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 16 at Applebee’s in Owensboro to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The car show and cruise-in will feature an array of cars, trucks, jeeps, bikes and muscle cars.
The event will be hosted by Bluegrass Biker News, Kentucky Hawg Mafia, and the C/10 Club, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to St. Jude.
A free vendor spectator area will be available for those who plan to check out the vehicles. A $10 fee will be charged to those wishing to enter their vehicle in the show. Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 entries.
More than 30 different awards will be given during the show, including numerous best car/ truck awards based on the model as well as people’s choice, best paint, best of show, best sportster, and more.
The event will be in the Applebee’s parking lot at 5120 Frederica St. as well as the Towne Square Mall parking lot behind the restaurant.
Those hosting the event are actively seeking vendor displays of all types, including those that are motor and non-motor sports related.
