Halloween-themed Cork & Cuisine returns for 5th year on Oct. 29

The Owensboro Convention Center is hosting the 5th Annual Cork & Cuisine – Happy HalloWine at 6 p.m. Oct. 29.

Attendees can indulge in a five-course dinner, and guests are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween best for the costume contest. A prize will be awarded for the best overall costume.

Guests can also play along with HalloWine Bingo throughout the evening for a chance to win prizes. They also have a chance to take home a bottle of each of the wines and spirits featured and a Halloween-themed centerpiece.

Guests are currently required to wear masks except when eating or drinking at their table. Drinks and food will be served. For seating questions, contact [email protected].

Tickets are $65.25 per person or two for $115 and include all wines and spirits. Reservations must be made and the event is for those age 21 and older. Tickets are available online at OwensboroTickets.com or at the Owensboro Convention Center Box Office. Additional processing fees apply to all ticket sales.

First Course – Appetizers

  • Paranormal Eggtivity Deviled Egg with Guacamoldy Filling with Minced Cilantro

Second Course – Soup

  • Vampire Blood Tomato Bisque with a Muenster Ghost Sammie  

Third Course – Salad

  • Ghostbuster Garlicky Caesar Pasta Salad with Ghost Croutons Hearts of Romaine Lettuce, Rotini Pasta, Cherry Tomatoes tossed in Caesar Dressing topped with Petrified Parmesan Cheese and a Garlic Ghost Crouton

Fourth Course – Main

  • Mary Queen of Scots Ribs Bloody Mary Mix, Horseradish and House BBQ Sauce Basted Ribs
  • Bride of Franken-Spinach Parmesan and Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast Smothered in White Wine and Shallot Scream Sauce
  • Mini Shop of Horrors Dead Plant Medley Mini Cruidits Steamed and Served with Honey Cumin Yogurt Sauce
  • “Die”-color Finger-ling Potatoes and Roasted Leeks

Fifth Course – Dessert
