Reid’s Orchard hopes to provide a great weekend for guests with the return of their Apple Festival. The annual event was cancelled in 2020. The Festival takes place today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Valerie Reid, Event Coordinator for Reid’s, said she is excited for the Festival for not only the guests but the nonprofits and organizations that set up at the event.
“It’s just fun to have the community out, and a lot of other organizations out here. It’s a big fundraiser for a lot of the nonprofits,” Reid said.
In preparation for the day, the family has been excitedly getting all the festivities ready including the play area, carnival rides, food booths and a plethora of Apple slushies, dumplings and sundaes.
