To kick off Halloween month, Ghostly Productions is hosting its first of several events on Saturday at their building on the corner of St. Ann and W. 4th streets.

CJ Graham, the actor who played Jason in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, will be signing autographs and posing for photos at the event.

Ghostly Productions owner Payton Ford said he has always been a big horror movie fan.

“I grew up watching the Friday the 13th films,” he said. “Part VI was always my favorite of the series.”

Ford said he met Graham at an out-of-town horror convention and started up a conversation about his store.

“Later on when I did my grand opening I reached out to him and we were lucky enough for him to respond,” Ford said.

Vendors will start selling at 10 a.m., with Graham beginning to sign autographs from 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. From 4:30-5:30 p.m., Graham will be doing full costume photo-ops.

Mile Wide Beer Company, Kona Ice and Hot Diggity Dog will be on site for the event. Several local artists and small businesses from the tri-state are also coming out for the event.

On Oct. 10, Ghostly Productions is hosting Hocus Pocus-themed painting classes, and on Oct. 29 they are co-hosting a Halloween party at Mile Wide Beer Company.
