ABC Rental will be holding a liquidation sale on the morning of Dec. 9 to clear all items in the building. The rental business is closed after having their location bought by the City to expand the Fire Department Training Center.

Joseph Mills, the auctioneer for Kurtz Auction & Realty, said that preparing for the sale has been going smoothly. As of right now, they have a complete list of the items they are offering on their website that people can look at before heading to the ABC Rental that Thursday morning.

The one-day sale begins at 10 a.m. and will conclude when all of the items are sold.

People can pre-register for the auction on Dec. 7 and 8 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Mills anticipates a large turnout on all three days.

“You can get there and inspect all the equipment for your ownself. Everything sells as is, where it is, with no warranties,” Mills said. “We want everybody to be their own judge on its value.”

Mills said there would be no buyer’s premium on any items and all sales are as is, where it is with no warranties.

All purchases will need to be paid in cash or check; a 2% fee will be charged for debit and credit transactions.
