National Association of REALTORS past president to speak at Rooster Booster

Charlie Oppler, the 2022 Immediate Past President of the National Association of REALTORS, will be the featured guest at Thursday’s Rooster Booster event. Oppler, a lifelong resident of New Jersey, has been a REALTOR since 1981.

The program begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Owensboro Convention Center (501 West Second Street) and is sponsored by Greater Owensboro REALTOR Association. Register to attend here or call the Chamber office at 270-926-1860.

The cost to attend Rooster Booster is $15 for Chamber Members with reservations, $20 for Members with no reservations, and $25 for non-members. Reservations include breakfast, which will be served buffet style at the beginning of the event. 

Oppler is the CEO of Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, with 15 offices in northern and central New Jersey. He has served on National Association of REALTORS’ Board of Directors numerous times beginning in 2003, serving as the 2021 President.

The Greater Owensboro REALTOR Association exists “to support and enhance the ability of our members to succeed in their businesses in an ethical and competent manner and, through a united voice, to preserve and protect real property rights.”

GO REALTORS membership is comprised of 254 members representing Daviess, Hancock, McLean, Ohio, and Grayson counties. Association members work in all aspects of real estate transactions. The membership also represents over 50 REALTOR offices and 80 affiliate members which includes mortgage lenders, appraisers, home inspectors, insurance agents, real estate attorneys, home warranty companies, pest control, financial advisors, utility companies, new home construction companies, and more.
