The Owensboro Offroad Jeepers group is hosting their inaugural “Show-n-Shine” event on Saturday. While the main goal is to showcase “what the Jeep community is all about” and display their vehicles, the event will also include raffles, prizes, and more.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Preservation Station Market and Event Center (9661 State Route 56). Attendees can shop and eat lunch at Preservation Station.

Anyone in the community can attend, but only Jeeps will be allowed as entries in the show.

Jeep accessories and other items will be raffled off, as will a cabin stay in Gatlinburg courtesy of American Patriot Getaways. There will also be a 50/50 pot.

A few vendors inside Preservation Station have also donated items to win by participating in a scavenger hunt inside the building.

Those bringing their Jeeps will have a chance to “play” on balance boards and a flex ramp. Jeep owners are encouraged to bring their vehicle regardless of model or condition — clean, muddy, modified, or stock.

Owensboro Off-Road Jeepers is a Facebook group that unites Jeep owners throughout the region. While it’s a place for camaraderie, the group also tries to give back to the communities as much as possible.
