Owensboro Symphony presenting ‘Home for the Holidays’ this Saturday

The Owensboro Symphony will present its annual Home for the Holidays concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at the RiverPark Center. The holiday program will feature both traditional favorites and fresh new works, including selections from The NutcrackerA Christmas Carol and Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

“I always look forward to our Holiday concert. You can feel the excitement of the audience as they enter RiverPark Center knowing that they will definitely be in the Christmas spirit by the end of the evening,” said Owensboro Symphony’s CEO Gwyn Payne.

The audience will also experience performances by the Owensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Owensboro Symphony Chorus throughout the concert.

“We have programmed an evening of holiday music that will thrill audience members of every age. This is one of the region’s favorite holiday family events and I cannot wait to see everyone there,” said Music Director Troy Quinn.

Home for the Holidays premier sponsor is Commonwealth Rolled Products along with additional support provided by Atmos Energy, Riley and John Hess, and the Messenger-Inquirer.
