Clint Campbell, a musician and producer, recently released a new single that is gaining popularity on several streaming platforms. It’s A Blessing, a co-release with Nia Purpose, is a song that aims to inspire listeners to approach their day with a grateful heart, reminding them of how blessed they truly are.
Born and raised in Owensboro, Campbell has always had a love for music. His grandfather, a local legend, played with the house band on Owensboro’s radio station. At the same time, his father did everything he could to provide opportunities for the young Campbell to grow as a performer.
“My dad would enter me in competitions, bring home new karaoke tapes for me to sing with, and pull out the guitar every chance he could to play for me when I was little,” Campbell said. “If there was one person that changed everything for my musical journey, it was him.”
In school, traditional learning strategies never resonated with the Campbell, who was always more interested in music and drawing. His love for music has only grown over time, and he now produces artists worldwide through Surrender Studios.
“Our goal was to create a song that would positively impact listeners, putting them in a grateful state of mind that would help them deal with life’s stresses more efficiently while protecting their peace,” Campbell said.
The song has been well-received on various music streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. The music video is available on YouTube here, featuring several Owensboro locations.
Looking to the future, Campbell has both long- and short-term goals. As a producer, he intends to empower more and more artists to grow creatively and spiritually, resulting in thriving careers that point back to God. As an artist, he will continue to release honest music that dives deep and “serves as a soundtrack for the ups and downs that come with being an imperfect person trying to follow Christ.”
“I want listeners to smile and know they are loved and fought for,” he said. “I want my music to spread positivity and inspiration, leaving a lasting impact on all those who listen.”
