Grace Marriage – a national ministry based in Owensboro – will host a book launch party on Tuesday at its headquarters on Carlton Drive. Brad and Marilyn Rhoads, the husband-and-wife duo that founded Grace Marriage, co-wrote the book with Brittany Cragg, who serves as the ministry’s director of content.
The book launch will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with several food trucks on site, along with cake and refreshments. Organizers said guests would also be able to interact with the Rhoadses and purchase a signed copy of the book. Christian Family Radio will also be around for a live broadcast.
Titled “The Grace Marriage: How the Gospel and Intentionality Transform Your Relationship,” the book features testimonies from the Rhoadses and discusses strategies for creating intentionality in one’s marriage.
“Brad and Marilyn share how their first year of marriage was a mess,” said director of operations and support Jeremy Bennett. “Along with Cragg, they share how establishing a foundation of God’s grace can create intentionality in a marriage and impact many other facets of life.”
The ministry will launch the book with Moody Publishers, a prominent Christian publishing company in the industry for over 125 years. It is available at Barnes and Noble, Walmart, Target, Amazon, Christian bookstores, and anywhere books are sold.
“More than anything, ‘The Grace Marriage’ details practical ways to practice grace and what it’s like to experience it,” Bennett said. “It contrasts the difference between a grace-based marriage and performance-based marriage, and how to let grace flow to other areas of marriage.”
Since its conception in 2015, Grace Marriage’s primary focus has been equipping churches with marriage ministry. This is the first time they’ve mass-published a paperback book for distribution.
For the past eight years, they’ve grown to assist over 5,000 participants in more than 150 churches in 26 states and several countries. To learn more about the faith-based organization, visit its website here.
