The Friends of the Daviess County Public Library annual fall book sale begins Saturday and runs through October 6. Customers can fill up a provided bag with as many books for sale as it will hold and pay just $5 per bag at checkout.
Book carts will be located near the Kentucky Room on the first floor of the library. New carts will be added daily or while supplies last.
The funds raised by the Friends go toward sponsoring programs and special events hosted by DCPL. The Friends are members of the Daviess County community and surrounding areas devoted to promoting awareness of the library’s resources, providing funding for special projects of the library, and supporting the freedom to read.
Those unable to participate in the book sale but still wishing to support the Friends can purchase an individual membership for $10 or a family membership for $20.
