With Halloween fast approaching, Ghostly Productions is promoting its annual Kickoff To Halloween event on October 7. The special guest for this year is Bob Elmore, the actor/stuntman who played Leatherface in some of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre films.
“Bob will be doing a meet and greet and signing autographs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,” said owner Payton Ford. “After a short break, Bob will be suiting up as Leatherface again for full-costume photo ops.”
The Kickoff to Halloween event is at Ghostly Productions, located at 203 West 4th Street. Ford said they have a professional photographer lined up to take professional-grade photos of attendees.
Vendors will be set up on St. Ann Street, and Ford said they will have a lineup of local artists and businesses coming out to showcase their work as vendors.
Presale tickets are available at ghostlyproductions.org. One attendee will win a free custom mask from Ghostly Productions.
The local business hosts events throughout the year, but Ford said October is really special.
“Spooky season never truly ends for us at Ghostly Productions, but there’s something special about fall that makes what we do on a daily basis even more special,” he said. “Halloween is the best time of year because you get to celebrate all things spooky. Halloween is the one day out of the year anyone can be whatever they want. If you can dream it, we can bring it to life for you.”
