Two local nonprofits were each awarded a $100,000 grant Tuesday night by Impact100 Owensboro. A third nonprofit received a $51,000 residual grant, while a fourth received the $7,000 NextGen grant.
The grants were presented Tuesday at the RiverPark Center during Impact100’s annual meeting. The award winners are as follows:
- $100,000 Grant
- Friends of Sinners
- CrossRoads Inc.
- $51,000 Residual Grant
- OASIS
- $7,000 NextGen Grant
- My Sister’s Keeper
“During the last 18 years, the women of Impact100 have continued to amaze me with their generosity and mindful philanthropy,” said Impact100 President Jodi Krahwinkel. “Thoughtful, collaborative donations have proven to propel our community forward via the hands of our nonprofit partners. These grants build infrastructure and programming that enrich the lives of everyone who works and lives in Greater Owensboro.”
In less than 2 decades, Impact100 has contributed more than $4.1 million back into the community.
The 2024 Impact100 Membership Campaign is already in full swing for anyone who would like to be involved. Members must be women, and they are required to donate $1,000 or $500. Interested individuals may become a member online through the Impact100 website at impact100owensboro.org.
