Kraftucky is one of the Owensboro Convention Center’s most successful self-hosted events. For the 10th annual event, they are looking to break their previous attendance record this November.

Show hours are November 10 from 2-7 p.m., November 11 from 9 a.m. to 6 p. m., and November 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults per day or $5 for a weekend pass. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Tickets will be available at the door.

Last November drew just under 5,000 attendees.

“Hopefully, fingers crossed, there is wonderful weather, and I really, really want to break that 5,000. I just think that would be amazing,” said Convention Center Director of Marketing Jeanette Goins.

Last year also saw a record number of vendors, with over 200 booths in attendance. Each booth showcases the business’s handmade creations in woodcrafts, furniture, decorations, quilts, jewelry, pottery, and more.

Goins said if there are enough vendors, the Convention Center will use all three exhibit halls.

Goins said that booth attendants are comparing the showcase to larger shows like the one in Louisville and complimenting the event’s success.

“Those vendors are saying that this show is being added to their list, and they say, ‘we’ve got to be in this one this year,’ and that’s really, really cool to hear,” Goins said.

Vendors have come far and wide in the past, with some making their way from Tennessee and the furthest parts of the Commonwealth.

“It’s the vendors and the amazing talents that they showcase,” she said. “It’s definitely not something you’re going to be able to go buy in the store because it’s really a unique item.”
