Thursday’s Rooster Booster program will feature a workforce panel discussion about best practices and innovative regional solutions for employers.
Panelists include Frank Anderson (Sun Windows), Kerry Bailey (UniFirst Corporation), Jailer Art Maglinger (Daviess County Detention Center), Amanda Owen (Puzzle Pieces), and Sheri Plain (Owensboro Community & Technical College).
The program begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Owensboro Convention Center (501 West Second Street) and is sponsored by Owensboro Community & Technical College. Register to attend here or call the Chamber office at 270-926-1860.
The cost to attend Rooster Booster is $15 for Chamber members with reservations, $20 for members with no reservations, and $25 for non-members. Reservations include breakfast, which will be served buffet-style at the beginning of the event.
The Chamber Young Professionals will be accepting new or gently used Halloween costume donations at the registration tables. All costumes will be donated to local elementary school students.
