From 2007 through 2012, Williams was a member and lead vocalist of Zach Williams & The Reformation (also acoustic guitar and harmonica). He was also the lead singer of the Christian group Brothers of Grace, renamed as Zach Williams and the Brothers of Grace.
In 2016 Williams signed to Provident Label Group – Essential Records as a solo artist. That year he released his first solo single, “Chain Breaker,” which reached No. 1 on the Hot Christian Songs Chart and the Top 10 on Christian radio.
Williams digitally released his first full-length album, “Chain Breaker,” in 2017. In 2019, Williams released his second album, “Rescue Story,” which includes the single, “There Was Jesus,” with Dolly Parton. He released “A Hundred Highways” in 2022.
The “Chain Breaker” album and the single “There was Jesus” featuring Parton both earned Williams a Grammy.
David Leonard began performing with the rock band NEEDTOBREATHE before becoming one-half of the critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated duo All Sons & Daughters. Now, as a GMA Dove Award-winning producer and creative partner in The Creak Music, he’s also racked up several songwriting credits.
In 2019 Williams released his first solo project, “The Wait,” a special collection of personal and reflective songs. David followed up that up with “The Wait: Silence The Noise,” encompassing recreated and intimate versions of each original track.
His latest radio single is “Every Hour,” released with Josh Baldwin. It follows his last hit single, “Good Lord,” released in 2022.
