American rock band Blackberry Smoke is headlining a concert at the Beaver Dam Amphitheater on May 25, with special guest The Scarecrows.
For the second consecutive year, Blackberry Smoke’s concert will be the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.
“Earlier this year, we had record Memorial Day Weekend attendance at The DAM with Blackberry Smoke,” said Heath Eric, a promoter with The Eric Group. “We are thrilled they are returning in 2024 and hope to make this an annual ‘Kentucky Homecoming’ for Blackberry Smoke and all their fans. It’s a special experience, that’s for sure. If you were there last time, you know. Get your tickets early and join us.”
Fan and venue presale opportunities begin November 14 at 10 a.m. while tickets go on sale to the general public on November 17 at 10 a.m.
“We’ve made several improvements to enhance ‘THE DAM’ experience for fans,” Eric said. “These include a new gate location with space for much more capacity at the point of entry, additional lines, and efficient entry procedures. Additionally, table ticket holders will no longer need to arrive together for entry. Those who purchase tables will receive 4 unique tickets — 1 for each seat at the table — and party members can now arrive separately. The team is also focused on providing expedited table service. We have some exciting surprises in store, so stay tuned.”
Blackberry Smoke is touring their latest album, “Be Right Here,” with the the lead track “Dig a Hole.”
Blackberry Smoke band members include Charlie Starr (vocals, guitar), Paul Jackson (guitar, vocals), Richard Turner (bass, vocals), Brit Turner (drums), and Brandon Still (keyboards). Since their debut in 2004, the Atlanta-based band has independently released six full-length albums and toured relentlessly, building a strong and loyal community of fans. Over the years, the band toured with ZZ Top, Zac Brown Band, and Eric Church.
The Scarecrows emerged on the music scene in 2020 and was founded by Cory Rowe and Willy Scruggs. As their fanbase grew, they welcomed vocalist/drummer Rocky Covington into their ranks. Together, they crafted a unique sound that resonated with listeners, blending heartfelt lyrics with powerful melodies and harmonies.
