The Lanham Brothers Jamboree Christmas Show returns this Saturday with two performances. Award-winning country star Bryan White will headline the variety show, with several other local artists and performers taking the stage.
The shows will be a 3 and 7 p.m. at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Tickets can be purchased here. All proceeds benefit Volunteer Owensboro.
Guests include Wayne Morris, Lucy Jagoe Chaney, Emmie Kate Williams, Mackenzie Bell, and The Footstompin Express Cloggers. There will also be a special appearance by Goldie Payne.
“As always, you can expect Christmas music, dance, comedy, skits, and crowd interaction,” organizer Randy Lanham said. “We even have Bryan White in a comedy skit.”
White has won CMA, ACM, and Grammy awards and has a handful of No. 1 singles. Lanham, now the Education Director at the Hall of Fame, played fiddle with country musician Wade Hayes in the 1990s and at the time became friends with White. Lanham remained close with both men through the years and still on occasion finds himself on the road playing with both artists.
Hayes and White performed in Owensboro earlier this year.
“I loved playing at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum earlier this year,” White said. “I am extremely excited about playing at the Lanham Brothers Jamboree there, especially since it is Christmas music.”
