Jumbo shrimp, snow crab legs, whole skinned gators, oysters, and more fresh seafood straight from the Gulf Coast will be available in Owensboro this Thursday when ABSeafood makes a stop on KY 54. Customers are encouraged to preorder.
ABSeafood will be parked at 54 Wine and Spirits (4551 Springhill Drive) from 4-6 p.m. on February 1.
The company is owned and operated by fishermen from the Gulf Coast. According to their Faceook, the company brings up seafood twice a week to stores in Kentucky (Elizabethtown and Paducah) before sending out mobile units to more than 6 states and 50 cities.
ABSeafood offers a wide range of specials along with fresh and frozen menu items. The full menu that is available can be found in a Facebook post by the company here. To order, simply comment on the post.
The post reads, “You pay for it once you see what you are getting. We prefer preorders, but we will have extra for those who don’t get an order in. Preordering helps us gauge on how much product to bring. We accept cash and credit at pick up. We will accepts checks ONLY made out to Gulf Coast Connection.”
In addition to providing seafood, the company also runs charters out of Dauphin Island, Alabama. They specialize in trophy fishing, catching everything from red snapper to blue marlin and swordfish.
