Firehouse Subs has opened the doors to its second Owensboro location, this one just off KY 54.
The restaurant is located on Heartland Crossing in the newest 3-unit building in front of Meijer. It will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and seats about 44 people. There is no drive-thru.
The restaurant offers hot specialty subs, salads, and more, with many menu items featuring names inspired by a firehouse such as Hook & Ladder, Engineer, and Firehouse Hero. The restaurant was founded in 1994 by former firefighter brothers Chris and Robin Sorensen, and it now has more than 1,210 restaurants nationwide and abroad.
Firehouse Subs still operates a location at 5220 Frederica Street.
