The Owensboro Rotary Club is reviving its Bourbon Ball this February, with tickets on sale now through the end of the month.
Club President Elizabeth Moutardier said it’s great to bring the event back to Owensboro and try to keep as many aspects that the community loves as possible.
“It’s back in the distillery. It is back with the Jimmy Church Band. People are very excited about that. It’s kind of like the adult prom; people get all dressed up and have a great time,” Moutardier said.
The event on February 3 will start at 6 p.m. with different branded bourbons for tasting, followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. and a silent auction that lasts until 8:30 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase here.
Mourtardier said they are only selling 250 tickets for the event to keep the night intimate, like its previous iterations.
All proceeds raised from the event will go back to helping Rotary’s efforts to give back to the community.
“Our focus is to be able to increase the sponsorship money that we give out every year,” she said. “So not only will it help the sponsorships, but we also give back to the community.”
