Extended hours will return for Yellow Creek Park in March.
With longer days and warmer weather, Daviess County Fiscal Court has decided to keep the park open later in the evenings in an effort to support outdoor recreation.
Beginning March 1, Yellow Creek Park will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The pickleball and basketball courts are equipped with lights that operate on a timer and automatically shut off when the park closes.
Panther Creek Park and Horse Fork Creek Park remain on winter hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until the start of the summer park season on April 1.
