A new ramen restaurant is coming to the south side of Owensboro.
The restaurant, named Yido Ramen, will be located at 5051 Frederica Street Suite A in the space formerly occupied by Hertz Car Rental. That space is next to Sleep Number in the building that sits between Frederica Street and Walmart.
A business license was issued for the restaurant in December 2023 and an electrical permit was issued to Neil’s Electric in January 2024.
Interior work has already begun to transform the space into the new restaurant, and a sign outside says “coming soon.” However, the owner has declined to provide comments regarding what customers can expect or when the restaurant is expected to open.
