The Owensboro Community and Technical College Chorus will perform its spring concert on Munday, under the direction of professor of music Dr. Connie Ford with collaborative pianist Anna Sparks. The event is free and open to the public.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at First Christian Church, 700 JR Miller Boulevard.
Featured composers of the 20th and 21st century programmed works, which cover a wide variety of styles, include Robert Fountain, Kinley Lange, Alice Parker and Robert Shaw, Elain Hagenberg, Stephen Paulus, William Appling, Paul Marsena, James Erb, Shawn Kirchner, and Mark Hayes.
Featured instrumentalists will be oboist Meggan Clark and cellist Ben Goodwin.
Sopranos performing include Robbin Baughn, Patty Brown, Denise Bushong, Janet Corum, Jeanette Ebelhar, Melinda Francis, Mary Jungmann, Rachel Kurz, Carroll Laswell, Leah-Marie McDivitt, Shannon Muffett, Jo Nelson, Allison Price, Alice Welsh, and Sarah Worth.
Tenors performing include R. D. Bramschreiber, Chris Freels, Rick Houston, Chris Gutierrez, Robert Meacham, Mike Tichenor, Chris Tolliver, and Philip Webster.
Alto performers include Connie Baldwin, Claudia Bartlett, Emeline Bartlett, Bonnie Brown, Angela Bruce, Linda Burgess, Beverly Chelgren, Leigh Crume, Susan Eineigel, Crystal Elkins, Janet Estes, Cindy Goodrid, Debbie Jordan, Ellie Kline, Vicki Meacham, Christie Stumpf, and Wendy Wells.
Bass performers include Mike Bruce, Kirby Chelgren, Billy Elkins, Sam Koon, Scott Salyer, Nandy Shemwell, Tony Sparks, David Taylor, Jim Wilhoyte, and Benjamin Wright.
