The Cottage Farm Stand is adding a car show to its annual Strawberry Festival, which returns June 8-9.
The Cottage is located at 6819 KY 56 in Sorgho. Marlene Knight, Owner of The Cottage, said the car show promises to enhance the festival experience, attracting car enthusiasts and festival-goers alike.
“We’re thrilled to introduce the Car Show to our Strawberry Festival,” Knight said.. “It’s an opportunity for car enthusiasts to come together, share their passion, and celebrate the beauty of classic automobiles amidst the backdrop of our vibrant festival.”
The Cottage’s Strawberry Festival is now in is third year. Knight said visitors can expect a fusion of classic cars, family friendly entertainment, 150+ vendors, “truck town,” pony rides, a petting zoo, live music, and artisanal crafts — on top of all things strawberry.
The car show will feature a variety of categories including:
- Trucks
- Mopar
- General Motors
- Ford
- Imports
- 1960-1969
- 1950-1959
- 1949 and older
The car show will begin at 10 a.m. Participants will have the opportunity to compete for awards, including best in each category and Top 20 overall, People’s Choice, and Best of Show.
