Friday After 5 will officially get underway tonight, rain or shine, organizers have announced.
While the food trucks and vendors will fill the riverfront starting around 5 p.m., the music will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on the Jagoe Homes Stage at RiverPark Center with the national touring tribute band Free Fallin – The Tom Petty Concert Experience. They’ll be on stage until 9:30 p.m.
From 8:30-11:30 p.m., guests can find the post-pop rock and Americana group Cynthia Murray & The End Times ot the Romain Subaru Party Stage on the Pier at Owensboro Convention Center.
Meanwwhile, No Limits rounds out the night’s triage of music on the Atmos Energy Stage at the City’s Overlook from 7-9 p.m.
FA5 was originally expected to kick off on May 17 but that event was canceled due to weather conditions. The concert series has been extended 1 week to make up for the cancelation.
