Tonight’s season opener for Friday After 5 has been canceled due to weather conditions. The concert series is extending the season 1 week to make up for tonight’s cancelation.
Friday After 5 released the following statement about the decision to cancel:
After consulting weather professionals and with the rains moving throughout our region today and tonight we have decided to cancel tonight’s Friday After 5.
Safety is our main concern for our many faithful fans, stage production workers, band members and others who work tirelessly to make it happen.
We will be extending the season to August 9th and the Velvet Bombers and Insulated will perform that evening.
