“Wheel of Fortune LIVE!” — a live theatrical version of the famous TV game show — is returning to the RiverPark Center this year.
The experience will take place at 7 p.m. on November 3, and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on May 16 at the RiverPark Center Box Office and on Ticketmaster.com.
“The live stage show, produced by Right Angle Entertainment in collaboration with Sony Pictures Television and UTA, is the one-and-only way fans can experience America’s Game in person outside of Sony Pictures Studios,” a release says.
Played “tournament-style,” multiple groups of three randomly selected contestants play “Wheel of Fortune” on stage with a full-sized replica of the iconic Wheel.
“Contestants will call consonants and buy vowels to solve puzzles to make it to the Bonus Round,” the release says. “Amazing prizes await contestants and audience members in the crowd – including trips to destinations like Paris and Hawaii or up to $10,000 in cash. Everyone gets in on the fun and a chance to win at ‘Wheel of Fortune LIVE!’ because there are audience games too.”
Starting this fall, all ticketed guests will have the opportunity to prepare an audition for the show’s producers. Additional information about the offer will come at a later date.
VIP packages will also be available for purchase, giving ticketholders early access, premiere seats, pre-show lounge access, and photo opportunities including a spin of the Wheel.
The hosts for the event will be announced at a later date.
