The Convention Center is again hosting “4th Fest” to celebrate Independence Day. Set for July 4, the event will include inflatables and other activities for children, and guests can reserve seats to view the City of Owensboro’s Independence Day fireworks display that night.

A variety of activities will be staged inside the exhibit halls on the first floor. Younger children can visit the Bouncer Maze, Bucky’s Pirate Ship, and games like the Duck Pond. Older children can challenge themselves on the Rock Wall and Spider Climb, Toxic Warrior Jump, and the Extreme Chaos Obstacle Course. Some activities require signed waivers.

The exhibit hall activities will be free and open to the public from 6-9 p.m. The City of Owensboro’s fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m.

There is no cost to view the fireworks from public areas. The Convention Center is offering reserved seats with tickets starting at $10 each. Tickets include exclusive early access to the inflatables and activities from 4-6 before they open to the public.

Guests can also purchase food and drinks on site. Tickets for all seating options are available online at OwensboroTickets.com or at the Owensboro Convention Center Box Office. For more information, visit OwensboroCenter.com or call 270-687-8800.

“Owensboro’s 4th Fest is a fantastic opportunity for families and friends to come together and celebrate our nation’s independence in a fun and memorable way,” said Jeff Esposito, general manager of the Convention Center. “We’re thrilled to offer a variety of activities for all ages and provide the best seats in town to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display.”
