Chick-fil-A on KY 54 will open at 6:30 a.m. this Friday, July 5. The restaurant is located at 3123 KY 54, just in front of Walmart.
The restaurant will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Local owner and operator Mark Whiteman looks forward to bringing approximately 120 jobs to the community. Whiteman’s first job was as a team member at Chick-fil-A, where he earned the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship.
A release from the organization said Whiteman is “passionate about investing in hi steam members and remains committed to his vision of making his restaurant one of the community’s most caring companies for both team members and guests.”
“My journey at Chick-fil-A began as a Team Member at Chick-fil-A Charleston Town Center in West Virginia, where I quickly found a sense of community with my team. Even after moving away to college, Chick-fil-A remained a focal point in my life for fostering genuine connections – it’s where my wife and I worked together at our alma mater,” Whiteman said. “From my early days as a Team Member to now owning my own restaurants, my team has become my second family. Opening my second restaurant is an exciting opportunity to deepen our roots and make an even greater impact in the community we cherish.”
The franchise donated $25,000 to Feeding America and will honor 100 local heroes with a year of free Chick-fil-A to celebrate the grand opening. They will also participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks, and nonprofits in need.
