The Kentucky Guild of Brewers will host its annual Education Conference on February 3, 2025, at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Owensboro. The event is presented by Holston Gases and is expected to draw more than 250 brewers and industry professionals from across the state.
A release from Visit Owensboro said the Guild’s Education Conference has offered free learning opportunities to its members for the past five years. The 2025 event will include panel discussions, workshops, and presentations from experts in brewing and marketing. Topics range from brewing best practices to marketing strategies, legislative updates, and new techniques.
In addition to the educational sessions, the conference will feature a trade show with products and services from industry professionals nationwide. The event will also include a New Brewers Bootcamp, designed to help those new to the craft.
“The result of bringing over 250 people in brewing to Owensboro in the dead of winter is a huge economic shot in the arm for our tourism economy,” said Dave Kirk, Visit Owensboro Destination Management. “It also highlights our diverse mix of business regarding what we host in Owensboro. The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum will serve as the perfect unique background for the conference.”
Jessy Harding, Executive Director of the Kentucky Guild of Brewers, expressed excitement about bringing the event to Owensboro.
“We’re thrilled to host this year’s Education Conference in Owensboro at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame,” Harding said. “We move the conference each year to a different location around Kentucky, and we look forward to sharing our brewing community with Owensboro this time around.”
