The Daviess County Public Library’s Winter Reading Program is back, this year with the theme “Reading with my Snowmies.” Participants can log their reading hours and be entered into drawings for prizes in each age category.
Registration is now open, and the program continues through January 31. Participants can sign up at dcplibrary.beanstack.org or by downloading the Beanstack Tracker app on a mobile device.
Every hour of reading and every DCPL program attended will enter participants into a final prize drawing, and each week the library staff will select random children to win prizes.
Every hour of reading or DCPL program attended will enter participants into a final prize drawing, and each week we will be selecting random children to win awesome prizes. Each hour read (up to 30 hours) and/or activity logged (up to 4) earn the reader one entry into the final prize drawings for their age group, as well as entries into the weekly prize drawings (for children ages 0-12).
To be eligible for the weekly prize drawing, readers must have logged minutes or an activity during the previous week. Children will receive a prize bag with a take-home craft and a free book when they register. Teens and adults will receive an LED snow globe when they register (while supplies last).
