The Dogwood Azalea Neighborhood Alliance is inviting the community to a festive afternoon of holiday cheer at “Cookies with Santa” this Saturday. Donations of winter clothes will be collected and given to the Help Office.
The event will run from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Owensboro Health Healthpark Lobby (Entrance C), located at 1006 Ford Avenue.
The free event features cookies, crafts, and an opportunity to take photos with Santa Claus. While the event is free to attend, attendees are encouraged to bring donations of winter gear — hats, gloves, scarves, coats, and similar items. All donated items will be given to the Help Office to support those in need during the cold winter months.
The Dogwood Azalea Neighborhood Alliance is part of the Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance program, dedicated to fostering community connections and enhancing quality of life through events, initiatives, and neighborhood partnerships.
The Alliance meets on the third Thursday of each month (excluding December) at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church.
