The Owensboro Regional Farmers’ Market returns Saturday, offering fresh, locally sourced products and a community-centered shopping experience. Here’s a list of new and returning vendors this year.

The 2025 season runs on Saturdays from April 12 to November 1, with additional weekday markets on Tuesdays from June 3 to September 30 and Thursdays from June 5 to July 31. The market is located at 1205 Triplett Street, just off Parrish Avenue.

The market is continuing its commitment to accessibility and food equity by accepting EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) cards and participating in the Kentucky Double Dollars program. Through that initiative — run by the Community Farm Alliance — SNAP recipients can double their benefits for the purchase of local fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy products. The program runs May 1 through the end of October.

To maintain a focus on fresh food, the market limits craft vendors to no more than 30% of participants. That allows more space for producers offering fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, baked goods, and other farm-based products. Vendors can choose to attend weekly or on a more flexible schedule, making the market a welcoming space for both backyard growers and full-scale farms.

A special food truck festival is scheduled for Friday, May 31, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the market’s parking lot. The event is free to attend and will feature live music. Food trucks interested in participating can email Mary Beth Alexander at [email protected] to register.
