Festivalgoers attending this year’s ROMP Fest can now upgrade their stay with a unique lakeside glamping experience — complete with queen beds, dressers, power stations, fans, and more — thanks to a new partnership with Homestead Camp.
The glamping village will be set up along the small lake near the volunteer headquarters, just a short walk from the festival field. Ten luxury tents will be on-site, with four still available for purchase as of the time of publication. Each tent features home-style comfort, including chairs, lighting, a cooling fan, and portable power for electronics.
Deb Fillman with the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum, which hosts ROMP, said the idea was inspired by similar setups at other events and came together when Homestead Camp reached out directly.
“They actually approached us, and we thought it would be a great way to offer guests another opportunity to enjoy the festival in comfort,” Fillman said. “They’ve gone over really well in other places, so we’re trying it out this year.”
The experience doesn’t come with a festival ticket, but fans have the chance to win a full glamping weekend through a raffle currently underway. Raffle tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at bluegrasshall.org, where additional details are available. The raffle closes at 11:59 p.m. on June 14, and the winner will be drawn on June 17.
“People can buy a spot outright or enter the raffle,” Fillman said. “It’s a great way to get a full weekend stay with all the amenities.”
ROMP Festival runs June 26-29 at Yellow Creek Park and features a stacked lineup of bluegrass and Americana performers. For more information on the event, visit rompfest.com.
