Owensboro Dance Theatre is holding open auditions for its annual holiday production of “The German American Bank Nutcracker.”
Auditions are scheduled for September 9 from 7-7:30 p.m. at Johnson’s Dance Studio, 2705 Breckenridge Street.
Dancers and actors between the ages of 6 and 14 are invited to audition for a chance to join the cast as “extra cast members” in the performance. Participants should arrive 15 minutes before the audition to allow time for registration.
A $75 performance fee will be due upon acceptance of a role, though limited scholarships are available to help cover the cost. Adult performers interested in participating are encouraged to contact Owensboro Dance Theatre directly.
Performances of The German American Bank Nutcracker are set for December 6 at 7 p.m. and December 7 at 3 p.m. at the RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro. A special performance for local schools will be held December 5.
