The spirit of bluegrass will meet the flavors of fall when ROMPtober Weekend returns to the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum on October 10–11. The two-day celebration will feature live performances, craft tastings, and family-friendly fun in the heart of downtown Owensboro.
This year’s lineup includes Green River Revue, Wood Box Heroes, Two Runner, RiverBend, and The Special Consensus, all bringing performances to the Hall’s outdoor stage.
Festivities begin Friday when gates open at 3 p.m. Guests can enjoy craft beer and wine tastings starting at 4 p.m., followed by a screening of a Craft Beer Documentary in the Woodward Theatre and square dancing led by Barry Lanham at 5 p.m. A Czech Beer Workshop begins at 6:30 p.m., with live performances from Green River Revue at 7 p.m. and Wood Box Heroes at 8 p.m.
Saturday’s lineup kicks off when gates open at 1 p.m., followed by a jamming workshop with Randy Lanham at 1:15 p.m. Two Runner performs at 1:30 p.m., and craft beer and bourbon tastings begin at 2 p.m. Guests can again join Barry Lanham for square dancing at 3 p.m., followed by RiverBend at 3:30 p.m. and The Special Consensus closing out the night at 5:45 p.m.
