Roots rock band Donna The Buffalo is set to perform in Owensboro on Saturday, bringing their blend of Americana, folk, and jam music to the stage.

The concert begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6. Tickets are on sale now here, ranging from $25 for reserved seating to $30 for preferred seating.

Formed in 1989, Donna The Buffalo has built a devoted following and a lifestyle-like fan community. The band has performed at major festivals including Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival, Telluride, Austin City Limits, MerleFest, and the Philadelphia Folk Festival. They’ve also toured alongside acts such as Los Lobos, Del McCoury, Little Feat, Rusted Root, Railroad Earth, and Peter Rowan, and once partnered with Ben & Jerry’s co-founder Ben Cohen to raise awareness about corporate influence in politics.

In 1991, Donna The Buffalo co-founded the Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival in Trumansburg, N.Y., an annual four-day event that draws more than 15,000 attendees and benefits arts and education.
