Wendell Foster has launched its annual bourbon raffle, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit’s mission of serving children and adults with disabilities.

This year’s “Spirits of the Season Bourbon Raffle” features four exclusive prize packages, highlighted by the grand prize — a bottle of Double Eagle Very Rare, a limited 20-year-old bourbon valued as a prestige collector’s item. Only 4,000 tickets will be sold, and the raffle ends at 11:59 p.m. on October 30.

Doug Hoyt, Wendell Foster’s CEO, said the organization is thrilled to launch the raffle with a Halloween theme for the first time.

“We are ecstatic to kick off the fall season with a very spooky bourbon raffle,” Hoyt said. “Our grand prize of Double Eagle Very Rare is a prestige collector’s item, and we’re excited to see who will walk away with this rare bottle. We want to thank all who have purchased tickets and supported Wendell Foster’s mission of empowering people with disabilities. We wish you the best of luck.”

Along with the grand prize, three additional packages are up for grabs:

  • Second prize: Four bottles of WhistlePig, including WhistlePig 25 Year The Badonkadonk and WhistlePig 18 Year Straight Rye Whiskey.
  • Third prize: A collection of bottles from Buffalo Trace Distillery, such as Weller 12 Year and two bottles of Elmer T. Lee.
  • Fourth prize: An assortment of 13 Maker’s Mark bottles, including five Keeneland editions and a 2000 “Dry” signed by Bill Samuels Jr.

Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at wendellfoster.org/raffle. The drawing will take place at noon on October 31 in the Elmer Administration Building on Wendell Foster’s campus, and it will stream live on the nonprofit’s Facebook page.

Employees, board members, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Full rules and regulations are available online.
