Bellevue Baptist Church will once again mark the season with its annual Christmas production, returning this weekend with “A Christmas to Remember.” The program blends music, storytelling, and family-friendly activities — including a live nativity with animals and a festive village offering hot cocoa and cookies.

Five performances are scheduled: Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 4 and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m. ASL interpretation will be offered at the 11 a.m. Sunday showing.

Director JP Kwok said the theme of “A Christmas to Remember” is “the enduring hope found in the birth of Jesus Christ. The show invites audiences to move beyond the busyness of the season and reflect on the moment that changed history — God stepping into the world to bring light, peace, and redemption.”

Kwok hopes audiences leave feeling encouraged and reminded that Christmas is more than a season to manage.

“It’s a story worth remembering, one that offers real hope in the middle of real life,” he said. “I hope people walk away with a renewed sense of wonder and peace, remembering that the Christmas story still speaks to our lives today.”

The production is the latest in a tradition spanning more than two decades. JP Kwok, who initially served as musical director, eventually stepped into the overall director role after years of collaborating with congregation member Scott Norris.

All performances are free to attend. Bellevue Baptist Church is located at 4950 KY 56.
