Beaver Dam Amphitheater will welcome two classic rock powerhouses this spring when George Thorogood & The Destroyers bring “The Baddest Show On Earth Tour” to the venue on May 23, 2026. The Marshall Tucker Band will join as the special guest.

The concert is part of the First United Bank & Trust Concert Series and marks a return visit for both acts. Thorogood last performed at The DAM in 2021, while The Marshall Tucker Band previously played the venue in 2019.

“This is one of those shows where everything lines up perfectly,” said Heath Eric, Promoter and President and CEO of The Eric Group. “George Thorogood & The Destroyers and The Marshall Tucker Band are both legendary live acts with deep histories at The DAM. Fans know what they deliver, and when you put these two together, it guarantees an absolutely incredible night of music. Based on early interest alone, demand for tickets is going to be huge.”

Thorogood’s band has been touring for over five decades, performing more than 8,000 live shows and selling over 15 million albums. The group is known for hits including “Bad to the Bone,” “Move It On Over,” and “Who Do You Love.”

“Maybe it is the state of the world,” Thorogood said. “Maybe it is the healing power of rock and roll. But when we hit the stage on any given night, I guarantee we will make you feel like a teenager again.”

The Marshall Tucker Band, formed in 1972 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, helped define progressive Southern rock and continues to tour widely. Their catalog includes staples such as “Can’t You See,” “Fire on the Mountain,” and “Ramblin.'”

“I was blessed with the ability to share music with people,” founding member Doug Gray said. “Whether it is five people or twenty thousand, that connection never goes away.”

Presale ticket access will open on Jan. 22 via the venue website, and public sales begin Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. Tickets will be available through ETIX.com and BeaverDamAmp.com.

The show is scheduled for May 23 at Beaver Dam Amphitheater. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m.
