LED Marquee, a nationally recognized brand specializing in color-changing marquee letters, is now available in the Owensboro area through a new partnership with Something Borrowed.

Kirk and Summer Aldridge, owners of the Owensboro-based event rental company, have launched LED Marquee Owensboro, becoming the exclusive provider for western Kentucky and southern Indiana. The three-foot-tall neon letters are designed for events of all sizes and can be customized with color, motion, and lighting effects.

“When these letters started showing up in major cities and national events, we knew they could be something special for our area,” Summer Aldridge said. “We looked for a brand that matched our standards for quality, service, and design, and LED Marquee checked all the boxes.”

LED Marquee is headquartered in Nashville with nearly 70 locations nationwide. The Aldridges visited the flagship location in person before committing to the partnership, and now oversee local rentals from setup to teardown.

The Owensboro inventory includes more than 100 letters, numbers, and symbols, with access to even more for large-scale events. Limited bookings are available now, with full access starting June 1. Dates are already being reserved into 2027.

Clients can choose color schemes, animated lighting, music-synced motion, and branded inserts. Custom logos and specialty symbols are also possible through collaboration with the national brand.

Something Borrowed, which launched in 2022 with a single photo booth, has supported more than 900 events and now offers planning services, stationery, and a wide range of rental décor. The company moved into a storefront and warehouse on Salem Drive in 2024 and has donated more than $130,000 in services to local nonprofits. That commitment continues, with marquee rentals offered at a 25% discount for nonprofit organizations.

“We want to bring our clients the best experience possible, and LED Marquee is a perfect fit,” Kirk Aldridge said. “It’s a high-impact, low-effort way to take an event to the next level.”
