RiverPark Center will offer three youth arts camps this summer, giving children and teens the opportunity to explore acting, music, dance, and other elements of stage performance.

The Arts Teach Kids Summer Camps — presented in partnership with U.S. Bank — are designed to provide hands-on performing arts experiences in a supportive environment while helping students build confidence and creativity.

The lineup includes programs for a variety of age groups, with each camp culminating in a presentation or performance for family and friends.

The Rising Stars Camp will be held June 8-12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to children ages 6-9. The camp costs $165 and includes daily snacks and lunch.

Participants will explore acting, music, dance, theatre crafts, and games in a setting inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The week concludes with a recital where students present what they have created during the camp.

The Summer Theatre Academy, the center’s two-week intensive program, is scheduled for June 15-26 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for students ages 10-18. The cost is $340 and includes daily snacks and lunch.

Students will study acting, music, dance, production design, and stage combat while working together to produce Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.. The camp concludes with a full performance of the show for family and friends.

The Imagination Camp will take place July 27-31 from 9 a.m. to noon for children ages 7–10. The cost is $80.

Each day will feature a new character theme with story time followed by theatre-themed crafts, including creating props and costume pieces inspired by the stories.

Organizers said the camps are designed to give students a creative outlet while introducing them to the fundamentals of performing arts.
