Cinderella’s Closet of Western Kentucky will host its Spring Box Lunch Sale later this month, with proceeds supporting local high school students in need of formalwear for prom.

Each $12 lunch includes a choice of chicken salad or a ham-and-cheese sandwich, along with chips, a cherry tomato and cheese pick, an apple, and a chocolate chunk cookie.

Orders must be placed in advance by April 20. Lunches will be available for pickup from 10 a.m. to noon on April 28 at Entrance G of Owensboro Christian Church, 2818 New Hartford Road. Delivery is available within Daviess County for orders of 10 or more.

Orders and additional details are available on the organization’s Facebook page.

Proceeds benefit Cinderella’s Closet’s mission to provide dresses, accessories, and confidence-building experiences for local high school students. The organization serves nearly 225 girls each year, offering free formalwear and a supportive environment for prom.

Organizers said community support helps the nonprofit continue its mission to “Turn Dresses into Dreams” for juniors and seniors referred by schools and social service agencies.

“This fundraiser is an opportunity for our community to come together and make a meaningful impact,” a representative said in a release. “Every lunch purchased helps ensure that a young woman can attend prom feeling confident, valued, and celebrated.”
