Cecil and Hillview Farms are partnering again to host the ninth annual Farm-to-Table Dinner on September 22. They will host this year’s event outdoors at Hillview in a space nestled between two barns with a picturesque view of the farm’s beauties.

Renowned local chef Matt Weafer will prepare this year’s meal, highlighted by beef tenderloin and chicken from Hillview Farms. Cecil Farms will source all of the produce for the dinner, consisting of appetizers, the main course, and desserts.

“This is a favorite tradition for a lot of people – they really look forward to it,” said event organizer Suzanne Cecil White. “We’re limiting attendance to 100 to preserve the event’s intimacy.”

The event also features live music, fellowship, and beer and wine. White said it creates the perfect opportunity to enjoy the tastes of the season and create lasting memories with friends and loved ones.

“It’s an uncomparable one-of-a-kind evening out, dining at sunset, overlooking hundreds of acres of beautiful western Daviess County farmland,” she said. “Dress up or dress down; it’s your choice, just come relax, and laugh and enjoy time with others.”

The two farms developed the idea more than a decade ago to share their farms with the community. White said with the temperatures cooperating, the landscape provides an “amazing place to celebrate the harvest of 2022.”

The event is reserved for those 21 and older, and tickets are $75 per person. For more information about the event or to purchase tickets, visit the event’s website here.
