Farm City Breakfast

The annual Farm City Breakfast will return to Daviess County High School on February 25. The event is a long-standing tradition that celebrates the Daviess County agriculture economy and its partnership with the community.

The annual breakfast is presented by the Daviess County Farm Bureau and the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce. This is the 43rd year for the event, which typically features a panel of several community members as speakers.

The event costs $7 to attend, and tickets can be purchased here or at the Chamber or the Daviess County Farm Bureau offices.

Each year the program also includes the presentation of the Humanitarian Award, which recognizes an outstanding leader whose life of service improved the well-being of citizens throughout Owensboro and Daviess County. In 2022, 10 area farms were presented with the Humanitarian Award for helping to harvest the Sparks family crop following the passing of David Sparks. The 2021 event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
